- Fashion and arquitecture inclined since her childhood, Elena Martin graduated from Barcelona s most eminent fashion school ATM and she was honoured First Class from Southampton Art School, as she studied Arts History at the University in Barcelona. As a 20 year old, Elena s talent guided her to be the youngest student ever accepted at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College, where she was graduated in Masters Womenswear, where she developed the liking in structures and graphics. Soon her first student collection was page on editorials as important as Self Service and International Textiles. After working as a freelance stylist for artists such as Kylie Minoque and Howie B ampongst others and joining experimental theatre and cinema from the renounced London East scene for costume design , in 2006, Elena felt ready to accomplish the will of creating her own designer label MARTIN LAMOTHE, BASED ON THE CREATION OF A HOLE ORIGINAL IMAGINARIUM OF GRAPHICS AND SHAPES. In 2007 Martin Lamothe turns into a unisex line, Martin Lamothe goes Unisex, due to the ovation of masculine market. The brand is sold internationally in shops in Japan, Korea, Europe and USA.
